A manifesto

Some software is just for you and your agent.

We're building the deployment stack for it.

Personal software changed

AI can build you anything now — a tool shaped exactly like the way you think. The blank page is gone. Making software is no longer the hard part.

Using it is. The moment you try to actually live in the thing you built, you hit the same quiet walls every time. Where does the data live? Can you trust the agent with it? What's the URL? Who hosts it? How do you reach it from your phone, and how do you keep everyone else out?

The modern web stack has brilliant answers — for apps with a million users, an SEO strategy and a growth team. None of that is your app. Your app has two users. Maybe a person and an agent. Maybe you and someone you love. The whole shape is different, and it deserves a stack of its own.

Audience of two

An audience-of-two app is software meant for you and exactly one collaborator — usually your agent, sometimes a partner, a co-founder, or a tiny circle like your family. Not the public. Not a market. Two.

A couple's journal. A founder and their assistant's coordination hub. A shared memory between you and your AI. A dashboard only useful if you follow one niche strategy. The tools too personal to ever ship — and finally worth building, because the agent can build them with you.

What it takes

Every audience-of-two app needs the same handful of things — and today you assemble them by hand, every single time.

  • ?
Data you can trust. Versioned, auditable, reversible — safe to hand an agent.
    AO2
  • ?
A way to share it with the agent. Granular permissions, not all-or-nothing.
    AO2
  • ?
A real URL & hosting. Reachable from your phone, not just localhost.
    AO2
  • ?
A private login. Only you and your circle. Done for you, by default.
    AO2
  • ?
A way out. Export to Git anytime. Own your data, forever.
    AO2

AO2 is that stack. CrabDB— the versioned data layer underneath — is the first step. There's a lot more coming.

No launch hype, no spam — just one honest note when AO2 opens its doors.

Private by default. Built for two.
